Just bought a mini in dust black. If the retailer had made a minor effort I would have spent a lot more money on a Dye Reflex. Luckily for me, he did not. I also looked at some used tournament-quality guns. I'm glad I got the mini. It has been years since I went paintballing. I am not a tournament player and never will be. And, while I love the look of expensive guns like the Dye, all that nice machined aluminum and anodizing does not do me a bit of good. I am not making a fashion statement with my gun. I haven't even been to a field yet with my new mini, but I just ran a couple of hoppers worth of balls through the gun. So far it is great. The rate of fire is much higher than what I am used to and the accuracy is excellent. There are a few upgrades I may make, such as a quick release, but other than that, I like the gun exactly the way it is. I am impressed with the gun.

this gun is great for the money. it is very light and comes with a decent barrel. sure you can buy an axe for a little more but this does the job. ive ordered the super freak barrel kit and im hoping that will be awesome. this gun is beter than the proto rail, g4, g5, and just anything around its price.

Speed reliability ease of maintenance are the cornerstones of what a good marker is then add a high rate of fire in a sub compact body...the best marker I have ever had....after 18 years of play im impressed! Woods ball to tournament play mini gets it done!

In my opinion the Invert Mini compleatly screwed me over. The ASA popped I have gone through 3 O-rings in the bolt and it sucked. Do not buy this for your kids as a first gun. They will spend their first paintball years crying in a corner because they don't have a gun to play with. I love Empire to this day and will buy their products still, but will never buy another Invert Mini.

Strengths are: price, size and weight, speed, accuracy, easy to clean, looks, and it is relatively easy to program the stock board even though you have to open the grip every time. (buy a five dollar thumb screw off eBay). Weaknesses are: air tank stops screwing in as soon as the pin is pushed down, which can result in stripped out threads or dirt in the gun, which has never happened to me, (again buy a twenty dollar on/off valve off eBay), me and my brother have both had problems with the dwell settings before, doesn't compare to the AXE!

I got the invert mini as a birthday surprise because we know an empire dealer, but I was also looking at a dangerous power G4, which is the invert's biggest competition. after having the invert I tried the G4, there was absolutely no competition the invert won. it performs extremely smooth, quiet, I have run about 2 1/2 to 3 cases of paint through and I only broke one ball. the only thing that is a downfall is how hard the board is to program at the beginning and how to switch into different modes. other than that the gun is amaizing.

I have shot this gun a. Few times its so quiet it is amazing. The only problem I've seen was when my friend broke his gun because it fell of a bench and hit the concrete and broke it was really not far at all it was not like a huge drop Like skrillex's bass drop it sucked

I bought two mini's for my son, one in his favorate color Dust Blue and one in Dust Brown and he loves this marker. I combined it with the older Empire Magna Hopper and even though the marker has very little kickback or noise when firing I had to set the setting on the magna to 6 ( the highest sensitivity level in order for it to feed but once I did that it shot like a champ and he has not asked for any other marker since .. he mostly plays with the blue one but both markers have been tuned with the same setting in case he ever neds to use the other if the blue one goes doewn (which it hasn't yet). Awesome marker.

this gun is amazing. I bought it used at my local paintball store. it shoots very good and has 5 firing modes. it shoots at a outstanding speed. I have never actually played speedball with it but it is great for woodsball. the stock barrel is actually very accurate. the gun is also extremely light also. the only con to the marker is the fact that it is kind of small. if you have large hands i would recommend the empire axe ,which is the big brother basically of the mini. i would recommend this this gun to anyone

I love my mini, got it at the end of 2012. Ran tons of paint through it no problem. All you really need to upgrade is a on/off ASA, maybe a barrel if you want. The only problem i have is i cant knock out the part that holds the trigger. But that isn't much of a problem. Overall great gun!
