Man, what a great marker. Trigger feels great, very light, no macro line to deal with, love the flip ASA, and field stripping and cleaning is incredibly easy. Just pop the bolt out the back with a zig-zag twist, run the swab through the marker, lube up the bolt assembly, and that's it. Great consistency, very quiet operation, VERY effecient, and haven't had a single chopped ball in 3 months of play. I'm telling you, for the price, you will not find a better marker. Highly, highly reccomended for new and experienced players alike!

The Empire AXE is a great marker, I purchased mine a few months ago, could not be more pleased. All metal construction, plenty of firing modes, hose-less design, great trigger, east to maintain, and shoots great. This is a marker that works great rock-stock, really excels with a few upgrades and some tuning. With over 30,000 rounds through it, never a problem, never a chopped ball. I recommend this marker to anyone who is looking for a mid- priced marker that needs high-end performance.

4-Months now with the AXE, and going at it nearly every weekend. Kept the factory settings, set the pressure, dialed in the FPS to 295 and have not looked back. I do chrono it weekly and the AXE stays right at 295 plus or minus 5-fps, which might be attributed to paint or temperature. Accurate and even more so with a .689 Dye Ultralight barrel. So far, no issues. Both of my sons have Mini's and for the past 4-months no issues with them either. Well done Empire.

BEST GUN OUT OF BOX. easy maintenance, smoothish. quiet. barrel is okay could at least give the pumps barrel kit with the axe also. but everything about the axe other than the luxe i love. its better than any 09 gun in my opinion other than the g6r or victory or luxe but anything else is beat by it

Gun gets a 5 out of 5 I've shot them all plain and simple the PE markers, Dye Markers, and anything you can think of and this gun shoots just the same if not better. The unique design is amazing and the gun feels great in the hands I've shot and owned them all and this gun is my top 1 by far.

THIS GUN IS AMAZING. I was told by many people that this was an amazing gun, but i never believed them. One day i got to try one though and you never guess what. I fell in love with it there and then. It is easy to maintenance and its a very sturdy, and versatile gun. An AMAZING gun for a good price.

WOW what a marker! I am mad about this marker! Its just so amazing! Simple design, easy to maintain, easy to take apart, super reliable, amazing trigger, accurate, very efficient,and consistant. This gun blows every gun out of the water in this price range. Good job Empire, keep on making excellent markers!

Great gun only problem i had was the allen key screw on the board where the battery goes is it stripped out easy and had to drill out and put tight grip on other than that amazing gun get 6 pods easy plus hopper shoots straight use it at psp and cfps events great gun for great price!!!

I picked this up a couple months ago. My local field had an amazing deal and was selling them for 375. Right out of the box these shoot like a dream. They are so smooth and fast. I had a mini before and an axe simply blows it out of the water. No kick whatsoever. If you have one and want to tune it even better, I've developed a method. Lower the pressure to 150 psi then raise the velocity up all the way, the. Use the pressure to drop the velocity down to what you want. This will put your axe at its lowest operating pressure. It makes it silent with absolutely no kick. I saw no difference in efficiency either. The only thing I hear when I shoot it is the loader. The new shockwave board is amazing too. It's tournament ready. You don't need any upgrades for this gun. I have shot egos geos g6rs luxes, etc. and this by far shoots the best. For the price you simply can't beat it at all. Field stripping is a breeze. I've taken out and lubed the bolt while playing x ball. If your stuck between this gun and anything else buy this. Don't even think about it. Try and find a bad review of an axe. It's impossible. I recommend this gun to anyone who wants to step their game up without emptying their wallet

It's been one year and just about every weekend, the AXE is still going strong. Lost a detent, replaced the poppet spring last week, that's about it. Accurate, fast as you want, easy to shoot, and durable. You could spend more but I am not sure why.

My Axe is pretty messed up. First time I shot it my paint was chopping. 2nd time barrel jam. Today my axe was leaking air and now I don't know how to fix it. If someone can help that would be awesome.

Like EVERYBODY have said...THIS MARKER IS GREAT!!! Hands down. I originally bought a Tiberius 9.1 CQB to be able to use the First Strike rounds. That turned out to be a PAIN. I received store credit and then spent a little extra for the AXE. I wish I would have went with this in the first place. LOVE the marker, and NEVER had a single issue with the marker neither. Not to bad for the price and performs just as well as high end ($1k) markers. You definitely cannot go wrong with this marker, especially with a great company as EMPIRE.

By far the best overall gun I have EVER owned. Ive owned Egos/DMs/Geos, and this gun is by far the most reliable gun Ive used. At PSP Galveston last year during the storm, all the guns in our pit were breaking down (egos/NTs/Clones) and chopping ultra evil like blenders. My axe was the only working gun in the pit that didnt chop or barrel break a single ball in the pouring rain! We went on to beat Revo 3-2 in D2x, and after that I was hooked on this gun. I cleaned it maybe 1 or 2 times throughout the whole psp season and local series. Even in the sand at world cup this gun still shot like a champ. I wish it had better looks which is why I got a Dark Axe now. I hope the Vanquish will be just as good, but I doubt it will have a better performance to price ratio as the Axe.

This gun is a BEAST!!! It shoots straight, has little problems, maintenance is a breeze, gun is super comfortable in hands no matter how tall or short you are. I have played with this gun for months now and it does not get any better than this. It works for Speedball, Woodsball, and Recball. Overall, I would recommend CERTAINLY this gun to any intermediate or beginning player.
