For a 70usd vest (pricing based on winter 2013), this feels over priced. Indeed this is a lightweight vest but seems to fall short. (0) if you are skinny or short enough, try this on first. The smallest vest size feels giant on my petit body (60kg, 1.6m). (1) The mesh hydration sleeve is only ok. It isnt much of a feature though. (2) Cheap chinese build. Consider not building the LIGHTEST vest but the vest that will last. (3) poor rear handle construction. Dont trust it for large loads (4) poor waist secure system. Pay more attention to what works and the uses of less velcro would have been in order. (5) front jacket zipper is only ok. Put a high quality zipper in that doesnt feel like it only will zip 1000 times but 1001 will break some part of the zipper. I would pay about 20usd for this vest, 30 usd tops but clearly not the 60 to 70 usd they would be asking for.
